Our mission for Stir on the Road is just like our mission in the Stir kitchen - to explore food, wine and people through storytelling!  Travel with us and experience a vacation like no other - we've taken care of every single detail from unique accommodations to curated dining experiences ranging from home-cooked meals and casual trattorias to Michelin starred fine dining.  Each destination and experience are hand-picked for our intimate group of 12 travelers to enjoy, and thoughtfully contribute with to the story of the trip, forming a love-letter between past and present.

A Grand Tour of Piedmont: From the Capital of Torino to the White Truffle Fair of Alba
October 27 - November 4

Join us on a journey through the Langhe, one of Italy's foremost regions for food, wine, and beauty - at the very best time of the year - White Truffle Season!  Now in our third year, we are so excited to share our Grand tour of Piedmont with you.  With every taste, sip, and experience included, we'll begin in the city of Torino and come to understand why this off-the-beaten-path city is one of Italy's hidden gems.  Afterwards, we'll spend a week on a stunning estate and winery in the countryside of the Langhe, where each day is a different adventure in food, wine, culture, and relaxation.

 

 

White Truffle Culinary Boot Camp
October 22 - 26 

As an additional mid-Fall event, we are pleased to announce our very first White Truffle Extravaganza, a week of unique hands-on experiences, demonstrations and accompanying meals in the warm reclaimed farm-house at Ca' Rapulin. Perched atop the peak of a hill, Ca' Rapulin provides wonderful views the region from all sides. This trip is meant for those looking for a more hands-on heavy adventure, or to add an exciting twist to existing vacation plans - it also serves as a supplement for our Grand Tour of Piedmont. 

We'll start things off in style with a white truffle dinner at Ca’ Rapulin, our farmhouse and winery in the heart of Italy’s white-truffle laden hills. Over the course of four days, guests will journey with a trifalau (truffle hunter), and learn how to bake traditional styles of bread in a wood fired oven, roll out classic shapes of pasta, and create desserts utilizing the famed Piemontese Hazelnut. All of our meals will be enhanced by truffles, fragrancing the air as they're shaved onto each dish. 

 
 

Reservation Procedure

  • Reservations are not confirmed until you speak to a member of the Stir Team and we collect your payment information for the required deposit.

  • Reservations require a $2,000 deposit per person and full payment is required 90 days prior to departure. If payment is not made in full 90 days in advance guests will forfeit their reservation and deposit.

  • Cancellations prior to 90 days in advance are eligible for a 100% refund (less a $125 fee). However, cancellations inside the 90 day period forfeit 100% of the deposit, unless it is for a life emergency.

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
