Events & Office Manager

Originally from the Hudson Valley area, April's restaurant career started with a summer job at the age of 16 on Long Beach Island, where she quickly became aware of her love of food and hospitality at a seaside shack.

Her experience with event coordinating and the hospitality industry is one that spans several years. Once a manager for the art department of a NY design firm, April's creative aspirations led her to own her own event and decor business.  But art and design only satisfied her creative needs, not her innate love of food and hospitality.  It was that love that drew her to Hamersley's Bistro where she was a server for several years.

At Stir, April is responsible for the daily office operations, as well as planning every meticulous detail of Stir's private events. Her love of art, food, wine and design are at the core of her commitment to guests in the restaurant industry.

In 2015, April was thrilled to join the Barbara Lynch Collective and lend her eye for detail, energetic attitude and leadership skills to the Stir Team. When she is not working at Stir, she is a mixed media painter who can be found in her studio or at various fairs and galleries in and around Boston.
